Personal vs commercial
Used household effects for a family member usually follow personal rules. Brand-new goods in retail packaging, especially many identical units, look commercial. Canada, Armenia, and Israel lanes on this site emphasize personal parcels.

Ukraine: Orientation: personal-use parcels often aim for ≤ ~150 EUR value and ≤ ~50 kg with a clear contents list. Manufacturer-packed non-perishable food is sometimes limited (~10 kg). Alcohol, cigarettes, and medicines are typical hard nos. Confirm on quote — thresholds change.
Poland: Orientation: EU personal allowance is low (often cited ~45 EUR duty-free for gifts). Detailed CN23-style contents list required. New identical goods look commercial.
Germany: Orientation: many EU gift consolidations have little or no duty-free room; fees can be a large % of declared value and may fall on sender or receiver depending on product. Accurate itemized values matter.
United Kingdom: Post-Brexit UK rules — not the same as EU. Gift allowances exist but are limited; commercial-looking new goods get attention. Confirm on quote.
Canada: Personal parcels only on Duma International (no shop-forward). CBSA assesses duties/taxes by contents — we do not guarantee duty-free.
Moldova: Orientation: parcels often capped around 30 kg; duty-free personal thresholds are low (~150 EUR class). Confirm on quote.
Kazakhstan: Orientation: ~30 kg class parcels; duty-free personal thresholds exist but change (often cited in the low hundreds EUR/USD). Confirm on quote.
Georgia: Orientation: ~30 kg; personal duty-free caps are modest (often cited around two parcels / ~$100 class). Confirm on quote.

Air (business days after pickup): Ukraine 10–18; Canada 7–14; Germany 7–21; Kazakhstan 14–28.
Sea (weeks after pickup): Ukraine 4–8; Germany 5–8; Kazakhstan 6–10.
Air and sea are separate products. Air ETAs are business days after corridor pickup. Sea ETAs are weeks after pickup. Never mix the two into one range. Customs holds can extend either.
